Home to a diverse range of wildlife, the park invites adventurers with activities like hiking, rock climbing, and photography. Yosemite’s iconic sites, such as Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, and El Capitan, draw nature lovers from all corners of the globe.

On our West Coast road trip, Yosemite was an absolute highlight. We spent a memorable night at a campground, dedicating our day to exploring the park and hiking some of its scenic trails. In the late afternoon, we enjoyed a refreshing swim in a peaceful lake, then found the perfect spot by a solitary tree to watch the sunset cast its colors over the distant Half Dome—a truly unforgettable view.
