Sunrise on Roys Peak

An magical sunrise on Roys Peak. I really love how the first sun rays hit the amazing mountain landscape yet are sometimes disturbed by some clouds leaving a big shadow on them...

One of the most iconic peaks of Wanaka and maybe even New Zealand. The Roys Peak, a 1578 high mountain with a stunning view of Wanaka and the surrounding area. Specially, the lakes and the mountains in the background make this spot so unique.

Hence, a sunrise tour is totally worth it! Back then, we started at 2:00 am and after a 3h hike we were rewarded with one of our best sunrises...
