Colourful sunrise at Te Mata Peak

Te Mata Peak is a stunning geological formation located near Hastings in New Zealand. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it a popular spot for hiking and photography.

In Napier we met an old friend by coincident which came up with the nice idea to watch the sunrise at Te Mata Peak not far away. It is a lovely hill with a gorgeous view. So a perfect place to set up a small Timelapse and catch the first sun rays hitting the landscape.
