One can already see the first sun rays of the new day. Moreover, one can see several head torches from some hikers starting their hike...

One of the most iconic peaks of Wanaka and maybe even New Zealand. The Roys Peak, a 1578 high mountain with a stunning view of Wanaka and the surrounding area. Specially, the lakes and the mountains in the background make this spot so unique.

Hence, a sunrise tour is totally worth it! Back then, we started at 2:00 am and after a 3h hike we were rewarded with one of our best sunrises...
